Info: "The Birth of Venus" Statue is the main figure in the Painting by Sandro Botticelli (Italian) painted around mid 1480s. 

The art work depicts the goddess Venus arriving at the shore after her birth, when she had emerged from the sea fully-grown.  The actual painting hangs in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence Italy and is inserted below to demonstrate what the Veronese Statue is in relation to the famous painting.
